- Faculty
of Architecture was established in 1961.
- The
Faculty’s mandates are clearly defined in the Decision 596 /QĐ/
ĐHKT- TH dated 20th April, 2006 of the Rector of Hanoi
Architectural University.
- Lecturers
and students of the Faculty have achieved many domestic and
international prizes for the fields of Architectural design, Urban
planning and Fine Art.
- Varieties
of projects which are designed by Lecturers of the Faculty have been
practical construction.
- Every
year, Faculty's students are awarded many great prizes and creative
certificate in scientific researches and graduation thesis.
- The
Faculty has been awarded 02 3rd Graded Labour Medals
1. What we do:
- Training architects with fully
capacity to be in charge of designing industrial and civil
projects.
- Training bachelors of industrial art
with 3 specialties: Fine art, Graphics and Monumental art.
- Organizing scientific research
activities for teachers and students.
- Cooperating in post graduate program
for architectural Masters and Doctors.
- Constructional consultancy
- Cooperating with relevant local and
international organizations in the levels above
2. Degrees and qualifications:
- Architects: a 5 year program
with 247 modular credits covering 3 major groups of modules: 17
foundation modules, 15 professional fundamental modules, 33
specialization modules and graduation thesis.
- Bachelor of Industrial Art
specializing in Graphical design: a 5 year program with 243 modular
credits covering 3 major groups of modules: 19 foundation modules,
18 professional fundamental modules, 22 specialization modules and
graduation thesis.
- Bachelor of Industrial Art
specializing in Interior design: a 5 year program with 243 modular
credits covering 3 major groups of modules: 19 foundation modules,
17 professional fundamental modules, 22 specialization modules and
graduation thesis.
- Bachelor of Industrial Art
specializing in Monumental design: a 5 year program with 243 modular
credits covering 3 major groups of modules: 19 foundation modules,
18 professional fundamental modules, 22 specialization modules and
graduation thesis.

4. Staff and lecturers
- The Faculty has numbered 120
teachers of whom 7 are merited teachers, 6 Associate Professors, 20
Doctors and 63 Masters, 40 Architects and painters. They are all
devoting time and efforts for over 2000 undergraduates.
- The Faculty's staff will be 149
people by 2010. Faculty Office consists of assistants (who are also
teachers) responsible for supporting the Dean on training, student
administration and 5 other secretaries.
